Dr. Osmoni did back surgery on me in September of 2015. I woke up with my right leg asleep and have been suffering ever since. I went to his office to get my staples taken out, horrific procedure that could be drastically improved. I told him what was going on and he asked if I wanted him to go back in to try to "fix" his screw up. I said no, who would want to go through that again? I have been hardly able to function and since surgery, have had to sleep in a recliner. It is 10/2/17 as I am writing this and I have suffered a HUGE relapse because of the weather. I ALMOST went to the emergency room, but held on every day to see if it would pass. The majority of the extreme pain has passed since the weather has cleared somewhat, but I am still in as much pain as I was BEFORE I went into surgery. I have been to UNM once to have a consult with a neurosurgeon, have to go again in Dec. for a better MRI, the one from Lovelace he couldn't read at all. So, because of Dr. Osmoni not doing the job I expected, and I didn't expect perfection, but I did go in with nothing wrong with my right leg. NOW I have to have a cane or a rollator walker around the house, I have had to put my web design business at a minimum because I can sit for only so long, and my right foot is swollen and can barely move. I only drive if I feel well enough, which is rare, and I have to literally lift my leg to use the brake and accelerator. Put it this way, I have a 15 Nissan that has just turned 5k miles. And that is including trips to Alamagordo, for pain shots in my neck, and recently, Albuquerque to UNM. Thank goodness Primm Drug is only two blocks away. Even so, alot of times my mother helps me by picking up my prescriptions from there. I HIGHLY suggest consulting with a doctor at UNM, and if possible with your insurance, Lubbock, BEFORE granting Osmoni to do surgery on your lower back. I wanted to go to Lubbock, but they don't take NM Medicare, at least that is what one office told me. He may be good at other procedures, but he sure screwed up mine, and my life. I am pissed.

If I could put no stars i would. I paid them $300 for a 5 minute talk with a nurse practitioner who just told me i needed a MRI. I went into the office with a splint I had received from the hospital and then 2 weeks later they sent me a bill for the splint they did not supply. I called the office manager, Debra, to dispute the bill and she basically told me that it's my word vs the nurses. NO HELP RUDE AND DISHONEST OVER PRICED IN MY EXPERIENCE, PERPETRATORS OF MEDICAL BILLING FRAUD. GOOD LUCK TO ANYONE GOING THERE, I HOPE YOUR EXPERIENCE IS BETTER THAN MINE.
